Since becoming Fair Queen Coordinator, I have been very impressed with the young women that have entered our competition. Whether being crowned or having to wait for another year the girls have been wonderful.
I would like to send a special Thank You to our two "Emily Queens," Emily Yarnish (2007-2008) and Emily (Drahnak) Steberger (2008-2009). This year, I was able to put the Fair Queen Competition in their capable hands and they "Picked up the ball and ran with it." Thank You Ladies!
I would especially like to thank Mr. Bob Swales, the Clearfield County Fair Queen Coordinator, Miss Leah Carr, 2009 State Fair Queen Alternate and Miss Rachael Syktich, 2009-2010 Clearfield County Fair Queen for adding elegance to our Fair Queen competition. You helped us add another level to our competition.
Thank You to our "Fearless Leader" for suggesting we use the tent, it worked perfectly! Thank You All!
