The Fair Site is under construction to update pages for the 2012 exhibits.
To All Exhibitors:

As you may be aware the State budget cuts have put our Pennsylvania Fairs in jeopardy. We no longer will get funding for Capital Improvement or Fair Reimbursement and as a result of this decision, there are fairs throughout the state that can no longer operate.

The Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs is doing all they can to reverse these decisions in government. After meeting at the 2010 convention and the zone meetings we have been advised to do whatever is necessary to help our Fairs stay afloat.

There are many changes in the 2010 Premium Book:

Animal health rules have changed and should be looked at very carefully. The livestock per head fee has been raised to $2.50 and the agriculture building now has an entry fee of $2.50 per person, regardless of the number of entries.

The Camper Fee has been increased and new this year is the camper registration that you will find in the book with a deadline date.

There is also a curfew for the under 18 crowd. After 11:00 pm anyone under the age of 18 must be in the direct supervision of an adult.

The Fair Queen committee is sponsoring a "little Miss Cambria County Fair" competition, for young girls between the ages of 8 and 10.

Your Barn Superintendents have done an outstanding job searching for ways to help our fair improve and move forward in this bureaucratic mess.  They are to be commended.

There are many businesses, private citizens and concession vendors that have contributed to the 2010 Cambria County Fair Fund Raiser and We Thank You!  If you would like to show your support you will find that information under the Sponsor web page.

We, as your Fair, are doing all that we can to continue the Cambria County Fair Tradition. We have sent letters to our elected officials, and brought the situation to the attention of the general public via TV and the newspaper.

We want to thank everyone for supporting the Cambria County Fair! Your continued support will help in our efforts to keep the Cambria County Fair Tradition alive; after all, This Is YOUR FAIR, and we want you to enjoy yourselves.

Thank you,

The Cambria County American Legion Recreation Association, Inc.
